Is Google Making Us Stupid?

Step 2 > "The Net's influence doesn't end at the edges of a computer screen, either."
"The Internet, an immeasurably powerful comuting system, is subsuming most of our other intellectual technologies."
Why- Both of these claims have reasoning as well as evidence to support them. For the first claim, he tends to use anecdotal evidence about t.v programs to support his claim. And for the second claim, he uses authoritarian evidence from a British mathematician Alan Turing.
Step 3> "Never has a communications system played so many roles in our lives-or exerted such broad influence over our thoughts-as the Internet does today."
"It's becoming our map and our clock, our printing press and our typewriter, our calculator and our telephone, and our radio and TV."
Why- For these claims, they don't have an actual reasoning or evidence to support their claim. This would be very important because, in order for people to see and understand what you are trying to say it would be a great idea to have evidence and reasoning to support your claim.
